Cinema – Enrique Otero

When the art goes further and meets the technology, perfect balanced images appear as the expression of modernity, as the polishment
that fills the firmament with lights and colors. Collage for our senses, senses that interact due to such a quantity of knowledge
and make change the reality. It is a pleasure to feel that someone so close can build alternative dreams, hide the dark side of the real world and be a magician. Just wonderful !
6AM
Hiding in the sheets
You thought you could do no matter what
You were only talking to yourself
You were only loving yourself
Whatever your anger says, it does not have a place in here
I don’t want to hear you any more, I don’t want to love you
any more
I cannot see you, don’t call this love
I don’t want to hear any more, I just don’t want you
Looking into your disdain
In your lack of sadness
Receiving through my eyes
Bad words from you
Whatever your anger says, it does not have a place in here
I don’t want to hear you any more, I don’t want to love you
any more
I cannot see you, don’t call this love
I don’t want to hear any more, I just don’t want you
Receiving your shouts
And the anger of your lost soul
I can see with my eyes
You damned life
I hear your moan
You ask for pardon and you demand it
And deeper and deeper
You beat my heart
Whatever your anger says, it does not have a place in here
I don’t want to hear you any more, I don’t want to love you
any more
I cannot see you, don’t call this love
I don’t want to hear any more, I just don’t want you
Casa de Xantar O Dezaseis – Gastronomía

Once you leave Brussels, you can access the city of Santiago following the French path of the Pilgrimage, walking San Pedro street.
Ialma landed there several years ago. Talks and friends. The best pies and endless bottles of wine. They could say that their homesickness appeared in the kitchen, that their sadness was bigger eating peppers and sardines, octopus and meat. Place of happiness where the dreams come true. It is so healthy to sing with a full belly !
Baile – Marco Mendez

There is nothing that can touch us more that being witnesses of the success of a friend of our childhood. It is so moving to see how somebody can expand his mind and body and be able to dance muiñeiras with the same ability than hiphop.
His joy is ours. That’s why we dedicate him these words:« For that boy who is dancing,/ for that who entered just some minutes ago,/ I will dance the whole night. » Dance, guy !
Deseño – David Aranda

Nobody like him knows every fold of our distinct bodies, every bend, every single fear and shiver just before to come up to the stage. Without him, his ideas and creations, the full soul of Ialma will shake and fall in pieces, as a castle of sand that crumbles by the very force of ocean waves.
Arte Urbana – El Puto Coke

He arrives from the land of one thousand rivers to this point in the map of cold, warming all of us with his magnetic tunes. He did what he pleasures him more: to be free and to enjoy thesecrets and detours, the bends and the summersets of colorful music. He does not yet know or he pretends that he doesn’t, but he is a crack, always ready for the party.
100 voltas
Fuck off!
Don´t look at me like somebody in particular
Pandeiretas, micros, turntables
People that do not like it, they are not welcome
What the fuck! Tradition together with the new staff
I am just bringing the feeling of the people
Dancers burning the dancefloor
Show how you can move or go away!
It´s obvious, this is insane
Every one of us is a party animal
This is where, now is when
Right now is right now, don’t wait
Forget the tendency, it´s you who decides today
I am a Galician, that´s how I feel
Ialma and Puto Coke,
Fuck off! OK??!
Artesanía – Obradoiro Seivane

The most well appreciated Masters are those who practise the art of simplicity and perfection. If there are Masters of tastes, we can confirm that Seivane’s family get the title of Masters of sounds. They are who make magic bagpipes, bagpipes that sound by themselves when the wind touchs very softly the instrument, when a bird rests in the bag. Bagpipes to dream !
Humor – Carlos Bianco

Let’s remember that magic moment in the high altar of the Galician folk music, Casa das Crechas, in Santiago. It was there where Carlos Blanco, a honest bearded man, raised his voice to state: Here you are « Ialma 4×4 », the « tank girls of the Galician folk music », the girls who arrived from the afterlife, girls that make the pandeiretas sound and receive the clamor of the public wherever they sing. Carlos said that with humour and love, the two things that we have more respect for.
Laughs and love !
Dance like a Galician
Days are longer, summer is coming
Don’t you feel the atmosphere?
Today is the big day
we have a parking-land
Eat, laugh, enjoy until you get
enough
even the bread is tasty here
buy some cookies OU-E-O
it’s gonna be a good night, come
to dance
Put your hands up with the sound
of the bagpipes
AI-LA-LE-LO
DANCE LIKE A GALICIAN
If it is a cloudy day, take it easy
wait until the afternoon, it will be sunny
and if it is raining OU-E-O
go to Santiago and you will see
Go for a trip in a truck
and put some gas, first and go
Look for the pepper OU-E-O
it will be spicy if you are lucky
Summer means to be relax
AI-LA-LE-LO
DANCE LIKE A GALICIAN
Buy a tropical shirt
put your cottage and make advances
take some bronze
make a tattoo or a piercing
Dance a dance or another
come to the group and enjoy
look at that guy OU-E-O
the way he moves, the way he looks
Stay until the grape harvest
smash some grapes, you will flip out
make cheers on the sand OU-E-O
the sunset will leave you blind
When you´ll have to leave
AI-LA-LE-LO
you will have to come back
JUST LIKE A GALICIAN
Literatura – Xavier Queipo

The one who writes and tells, the one who after the show can define with elegant words what others could not describe. The rhythm goes from the feet to the keyboard creating a melody of words, a deep song that comes from the chest. Lover of music, companion in the emigration and in the defense of our so much threatened language, considered by us as a treasure.
Thanks so much, amigo !
Grixoa
I will tell you with this song
I will tell you with this song
What words couldn’t define
All the sadness is well over
I come out to the world to sing
With my eyes full of feelings
Here I arrived with hope
Carrying a pain in my chest
I come out to the world to get
What homeland could not provide
I’ve worked hard
As nobody gave anything for free
When I’ll be back to Grixoa
Fresh summer at the river basin
My eyes will be clean at last
In the Lagarteiras’ magic fountain.
Viticultura – Adega Terras Gauda

There is nothing better to party than a good wine and the best company. From the wine to the singing. So, something that started as friendship ends like a brotherhood. If it is José María Fonseca, the head of Terras Gauda, who offers the wine, and if it is Ialma who sing so, then, everybody can shout:
Let’s start the party !
Debuxo – Serxio Cobos

Dancing with the legs as with the hands he dances, drawing in the air lines and shadows. Coming from the thunder of music, he was oozing in lines our very essence meanwhile we were singing loud.
If there is something in common between dancing and drawing, this is no doubt the taste for color and the shadows moving.

Vals 10
Se é que canto porque canto
se é que río porque río
se é que canto porque canto
se é que río porque río
se adevírtome son tola
teña calor teña frío
Quen me dera unha nai-e
anque fora dunha silva

anque fora dunha silva
e anque ma silva picara
sempre i-era a súa filla
Silva verde non me prende
mira que non me aseghura
silva verde non me prende
mira que non me aseghura
mira que xa teño roto
outras cadeas máis duras
Se é que canto porque canto
se é que río porque río
se é que canto porque canto
se é que río porque río
se adevírtome son tola
teña calor teña frío
Mira que xa teño roto
outras cadeas máis duras
Adiós que me vou do mundo
porque a terra me chama
adiós que me vou do mundo
porque a terra me chama
deixo o testamento feito
que me enterren na túa cama
Voltar
Bailade no agarrado

pouco me importa o que digan
quero bailar ó teu lado

Ai a la la ai a la la a
Vinde mociños ó baile
vinde que festa non ha faltar
vinde mociños ó baile
e lembraivos en voltar
Se soubera que ti dabas
pasadiñas por me ver-e
tamén eu daba palabra
doutros amores non ter-e

Ai a la la ai a la la a
Vinde mociños ó baile

Para bailar veño eu-e

pra toca-lo acordeón-e
viva quen o ten na mao-e

Ai a la la ai a la la a
Vinde mociños ó baile

Xota do Amencer
Por te ver ando de noite
por te ver de madrugada
por te ver ando decote
ti por min non andas nada
Dille que suspiro e choro
dille que vivo morrendo
dille que se compadeza
do mal que estou padecendo
Ai amor, ai amor, ai amante
anque queira non podo olvidarte
ai amor, ai amor, ai consolo
anque queira olvidarte non podo
O loureiro raíz de ouro
bota folliñas de prata
coller amores non custa
olvidalos sí que mata
Vouvos da-la despedida
vouvos da-lo parabenhe
vouvos da-la despedida
que ma dan a min tamén-e
